Glenwood Memorial Gardens has a rather unique origin. Although some of its burials date back to the 1700s, it wasn’t until the early 1850s that the cemetery was formally chartered. In the early 1940s, the cemetery was moved from its original location on Glenwood Avenue in Philadelphia to its current location in Broomall in order to make available valuable land in the city. We proudly have been serving the families of the Delaware Valley for many years.
